AAAAAAAAAAAH.

Sorry, I'm still freaking out about the whole Heffron Drive thing because that was one of the best things I've ever done, omg.

So. Yeah. This is where I talk about it all and share pictures and gifs and videos :)))

I left the house around 2 pm and started driving to Cologne. It's about two and a half hours away from here. The drive was all right and I enjoyed the road trip. I bought a GPS the other day, so I didn't have to worry about getting lost or taking a wrong exit and could just focus on my pre-concert and M&G excitement - and increasing nervousness!

When I arrived in Cologne and was waiting at a red light, I suddenly realised that I'd forgotten my ID. AAAAH. And in one of the emails they sent me they specifically said that to bring your ID if you have a VIP ticket. I was like, fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck, but there was nothing I could do since I couldn't drive back to get it before the concert. So I drove past the venue, saw a big group of fans waiting outside already. I found a parking spot and joined the group (and got a better spot than some of the others cause I just stood in front of the gates while they were lining up along the wall lol). I went to one of the security people and asked if I could show them my driver's license instead of my ID and they said that should be fine. In the end, I didn't have to show anything, so whatever.

So I waited outside for like 30 minutes, listening to conversations and stuff. I was a bit bored but whatever. Being there early was worth it, though, because as we were standing there, suddenly, some people came out of the pub and when I looked up, I saw Dustin. Eep! And then I realised that Kendall was there too, right behind him and GOD, I was not prepared for them to be so gorgeous. I was, but not, you know?

Anyway, after Kendall smiled and waved at us, they disappeared through another door. People were already freaking out because of that, and I heard a mum say to her daughter, "Now you've seen your Kendall Schmidt, so we can leave again" lololol. The girl was like, "Muuuuummm."

Right. Anyway.

Ten minutes later, we were let into the venue (which was a pub/small club kinda thing, not an actual concert hall) and lined up for the Meet & Greet. There were like, 15 people in front of me. We only had to wait for another few minutes before the boys came in. My heart was beating so fast and I was shaking I was so nervous, omg. I tried to take some pictures even before it was my turn but it was so DARK in the venue that they didn't turn out that great. I watched people go to them, hug them, talk to them, take pictures, and tried to mentally prepare myself to do the same but I don't think you CAN really prepare for it.

Then it was my turn. I put my bag down and moved over to Kendall, saying hi, and he pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back, screaming internally, then, when he let go, I moved over to Dustin and hugged him as well. He said, "Hi, how are you?", I said, "Good," cause that was pretty much all I could manage at that point LOL Then I stood between the two of them for my picture. It all happened so fast that I couldn't process anything or think about the picture - in the end, I didn't even wrap my arms around them??? Which I totally regret now, ugh. I should've just pounced, dammit. Basically, I just stood there, shocked, which is why the picture looks a little... unspectacular. LOL

But Kendall put his hand on my shoulder and then said, "Oh sorry, my hand's a little cold." When the picture was taken, I was like, "Yeah, a little." And then he said, "A little! Ein bisschen kalt!" ("a little cold" in German), eep! So cute :))))

Anyway, then I moved away to grab my bag and my concert tickets. The next girl was already moving in on the boys, but I asked Kendall if he could sign my tickets and he said, "Yeah, sure!" I thanked him when he handed them to Dustin and he signed them as well. And when he gave them back, he gave me an adorable smile and said, "Have a great night!"

And that's how I fell even more in love with Dustin Belt ughughugh. No, but seriously, if you don't think Dustin's cute, you kinda can't help thinking he's cute after you've met him, and if you DO find him cute to begin with, you're all asldfkjaslkdfjalksf afterwards, like me. :3

And then it was over. The whole thing lasted for literally 35 seconds; it was over SO fast, ugh.

Someone filmed some of the Meet & Greet and I'm in the video! The video is so dark that you can barely see anything but I made some gifs of it and tried to lighten it a little - here:

Then I had to go outside and I just stood there, shaking. Some girls were crying, and while I always used to roll my eyes at people who get so emotional and stuff, I kinda get it now. It's just all very overwhelming. I didn't cry, just grinned like a fucking idiot for a while, finally processing. Then I chain-smoked for a bit, trying to calm down lol. We sat outside till 7 pm when they finally let us back in.

I was waiting for the soundcheck but there wasn't one :( Anyway, I had a pretty good spot; on the left side of the stage by the bass box/speaker. There were only two people in front of me, so I was sort of in the front/second row. It was great! People were handing out those green light sticks that you can wear as bracelets or whatever, so I got one of those too, and... yeah. I listened to people talking and ugh, I hate fans. LOL Just... there were so many who were obviously also on Tumblr and they just acted all cool and like they knew everything~ Sooo yeah.

The wait was looong. And when something finally happened at 8, I almost groaned because there was an opening act. I didn't know there was going to be one, meh. Some guy named Alexander Knappe and his band - they were pretty good, though, and kinda cute :3 They played like, 7 songs or something and it was okay, but they all kinda sounded the same, so after a while, I was just like, "go away already."

Took a pic, though:

They were done after about 40 minutes. Then their instruments and chairs were removed (as well as a dusty rug they'd put on the floor lol), and Kendall and Dustin's microphones and stuff were put up. The fans were going crazy - it was a pretty small crowd, about 200 people, I'd say? So it was a small, intimate concert, and I love those so much more than big shows, tbh. It was great. People were screaming for Kendall AND Dustin, which made me ridiculously happy for Dustin. Like, you'd assume that most fans would be BTR fans who only came there to see Kendall, but most of them were actually Heffron Drive fans, which was great!

At 9, Kendall and Dustin came out, both holding cameras that they put up. They filmed the whole thing themselves, so... Idk if they'll put up those videos at some point? I hope so!

Anyway, I was really, really close. I was on Dustin's side of the stage, so most of the decent pics below are of Dustin. My camera is apparently really crappy, though, becaus I don't have one good, clear picture. Ugh. I found some on Tumblr, though, so I'll post those as well.

The concert began and they sounded SO GOOD. And they seemed to be enjoying themselves so much, and it was just really great to see. The screaming was insane, considering it was only a small group of fans.

Now, I don't remember every single thing that happened, but these are the ones that I do remember:

- Before A-Team, Kendall talked about Ed Sheeran tweeting him at some point, and Dustin said he was jealous. And then Kendall was like, maybe he'll tweet me again when he sees this, or something. Then they played the song and Kendall fucked up a line, haha! He started too soon with the chorus at some point, I think, and then made a cute face and started the line again. And after the song, he was like, "Aww, now he won't tweet me :(". So cute.

- He couldn't seem to find the first chord and tone of Time Wasting either and was like ??? His expression was flawless, haha. Then he did get it right and was like, "Okay, and THAT'S what it was supposed to sound like." There were some technical difficulties from time to time but it just made the concert better, you know? It wasn't perfect but that was part of its charm.

- At some point, Dustin was like, "This is already an intimate concert, but I'd like to make it more intimate." And then Kendall was like, "And sexyyy." And Dustin was like, "And sexy." And then the lights were dimmed and basically, Kendall sang a song on his own and Dustin came over to us and knelt down right in front of us aaaaaah! He was so close, eep. Anyway, Dustin filmed Kendall while he was playing the song and I honestly didn't know where to look because DUSTIN and KENDALL. I just love them both, so it was sometimes hard to decide where to look, haha.

- Dustin also said, "Is it hot in here or is it just me?" at some point. The crowd agreed that it was him~

- Also, Dustin's rap in Love Letter was like, the hottest thing ever, ugh.

- Kendall said some things in German and then said that he's kind of sad no one ever really taught him German, and the audience was screaming, and Kendall smirked and was like, "Would YOU teach me?" and literally everyone basically volunteered, haha.

- Kendall got his suitcase back, haha (the airline had lost it) lol

There were eight songs, which isn't a lot, but considering they only HAVE five actual songs, it was still nice. Just extremely short. I could've listened to about twenty more songs. It had barely begun when it was over again - at 9.45 or so. Then People were leaving, some were staying, waiting outside to meet the boys. I considered staying but my feet hurt because I was basically standing on my toes the entire time and I had a long drive ahead of me, sooo... yeah.

So I drove home and arrived here around 0.30. And in the car, I half-sobbed because this is literally the WORST post-concert depression I've ever had. :(((

But despite the shortness of the concert and M&G (the waiting in between was longer than the actual concert omg), it was totally worth it.

I'm still uploading videos, but here are the ones I've uploaded so far.

I have some more, mostly just random moments between the songs, so I may upload those at some point.

But I just checked YouTube and someone's uploading the whole concert, so I probably won't. LOL We'll see.

Anyway, my pictures are crap, so I'm not gonna post them, but here's the link to the photobucket album, just so you can see how close I really was :)))

And here are some pictures NOT taken by me and they're so gorgeous, I may cry.

THAT SMILE???

Anyway... that's it. :)))
