Here in my room;

Sooo clearly I haven't been on LJ for a while (again) and am way behind on my flist (again), but I just scrolled down to like, May 1st or something, so I have read a few entries. Not really replied to any of them though because there was either nothing to say or it was a really personal entry and I felt weird replying to it days/weeks later. So... consider this an "I've read your post and I ♥ you even though I'm a shitty LJ friend and never around" post. :))

I don't even really have an excuse for my absence; it's not that real life is so busy that I can't get to a computer anymore - I'm still online day and night, pretty much, but I happen to hang out on different... sites. And I've been doing stuff. Creative stuff, organisational stuff - also, lots of reading.

But anyway. The new LJ layout! I... don't hate it. I don't love it either but, you know, whatever. I do think they could give us some more customisation options because it's all a bit too big for me. But I guess that's why browsers have "zoom in" and "zoom out" options! I have it all on 75% right now and that works fine, for now.

Real life wise... there's nothing to talk about, really.

Like I said, I've been reading a lot and I'm sooo obsessed with the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus books. Why did no one tell me they're so great??? And so many slash/femmeslash possibilities; I'm in heaven :))) I'm on Mark of Athena right now, and I'm dreading the day when I finish House of Hades because I really don't want to wait till October for the last one.

I've been drawing a lot, using tutorials and stuff... And I now have an art Tumblr! I already created one a little while ago but then deleted and recreated it because Tumblr flagged the old one nsfw by default - which, don't get me wrong - it should be, but... then nothing shows up in the tags. And when nothing shows up in the tags, people aren't going to find me, and... yeah. That was bugging me, so I made a new one - which is completely safe for work now. I will, however, make another nsfw one, but I haven't had a good idea for an URL yet, so... some other time.

Anyway... I've been writing a lot. A LOT. I think this year my word count will be higher than ever before. And I'm really proud of most of the stuff I've written, which is great! I may make a post about it later; with all the links to everything I've drawn and written recently. Most of it is obviously 1D-related, sorry :3 (I like that smiley :3 :3 :3 lol)

Work is fine; I'm much happier now than I was at first, and... really, that's everything I have to talk about right now? Real life is kinda boring and uneventful, the way it usually is and which I'm pretty happy about at the moment, considering it gives me more time for fandom! :D

Okay.

• My plane leaves at 6.20 am tomorrow morning - my time. So I need to be there around 4.20 am. Which means I need to leave the house around 3.45 am, and would have to get up at 3 am.


• In order to get, like, 5 hours of sleep, I would have to go to bed around 10 pm tonight.


• I did however wake up around noon today, and I doubt I could sleep.


• So I've kind of decided to stay up because I'm ridiculously afraid I'm not going to wake up if I sleep.


• But if I don't go to bed, that means I won't get any decent sleep for the next ~35 hours, and will have been awake for 41 hours in total. LOL!

Okay now that I've written it here, it sounds really ridiculous, haha. But if I can't sleep now, and I'm afraid of oversleeping - what do I do? XD

Sooo... if you got/get an email from me with a weird link in it, don't click it and just delete it (the sender would be thilia[at]live.com and the name 'Little Tartlet Pickpocket' - don't ask XD).

I have no idea how it happened but my email apparently developed a life of its own and is now sending those annoying emails to some people on my contact list, so... just ignore them.

I thought that sort of thing only happened when you click a weird link in MSN or something but apparently you don't have to do anything for it to happen. Or it got hacked. UGH D:

Pfffffff... I'm considering moving everything to another email address now. Maybe deleting all my contacts will help?

I don't know what I was thinking. I kinda like it but after only one wall, I'm already sick of painting. And I still have to do 1/4 of the ceiling. LOL!

Last night, I watched Die Super Chart Show again, and it was all about the most popular (or successful) new German pop/rock hits. Now I'm browsing YouTube for all the old and new German songs I'd long forgotten about :D Makes me all nostalgic *g*

Anywhooo, Tokio Hotel was only #11. I know, right? I'd expected them to at least make the Top 10, but... oh well.

And now I'm thinking about making a post with my favourite German songs of all times... if anyone would even be interested in that :P

But first I should probably catch up with all the 30 Day Memes I've been neglecting this past week.

As for the writing I was planning to do - I did get a lot done. I finished two of the four fics I wanted to write, am more than halfway done with the third one (but I'm stuck!) and I'm not sure I'm going to finish the fourth one because it sucks.

But basically I've written more than 20,000 words this week, which is pretty awesome, I think :D

And now I have this annoying urge to reorganize my tags. And the last time I did that, I wasted HOURS doing that, and... no. *forces self to leave them alone*
