[Error: unknown template qotd]I like both equally, I think? I usually buy the e-version and if I really liked it, think I might read it again and it has a pretty cover, I'll buy the physical copy (preferably hardcover) as well. Or, well... I haven't actually done that yet but there are several books/series that I'm planning on buying at some point in the future.

What I like about Kindles though is that you don't have to wait days for the book to be delivered and you can start reading right away, and with AO3's handy download function, you can read fics on it as well.

As for the actual reading experience... each option has its advantages.

There are many that I watch every single year around this time :)

❥ The Holiday
❥ Love Actually
❥ The Family Stone
❥ Bridget Jones's Diary
❥ It's A Wonderful Life
❥ Miracle on 34th Street
❥ We're No Angels

I have a feeling I forgot a few, but those are the ones I'm sooo looking forward to watching again :)

Maybe I'll do it even more hardcore this year, and will also watch every Christmas episode of every TV show I love... haha :D

When I was in London with my friends a few years ago, we went to the stage doors of the musicals we saw (Wicked, We Will Rock You and Phantom of the Opera), and naturally, we waited for the 'stars' at the stage doors afterwards.

Most of the actors/singers aren't really famous, but the first time we saw Wicked, Myriam Margolyes (sp?) was in it (Professor Sprout from Harry Potter) and Adam Garcia (the hottie from Coyote Ugly). So we saw them, took pictures and got our brochures signed :)

Then we obviously also met some of the other people who were in the musicals, such as Kerry Ellis, Dianne Pilkington, Mazz Murray, Peter Johansson, etc. They were all really sweet :)

Other than that, I'm pretty sure I saw A.J. from the Backstreet Boys in L.A., but I have no proof that it was actually him. LOL! And at the Universal Studios, a guy who was on Grey's Anatomy was hosting the Special Effects show, but I didn't really meet him.

In Luxembourg, we ran into our Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker the other day, and he said hi XD LOL! And I also saw Lea Linster from afar; she's a chef who's sometimes on some German cooking shows :)

Since [livejournal.com profile] tomatoe18 mentioned a spelling error, I'm gonna go with the same thing ;)

First of all, the whole your/you're and they're/there/their issue always bugs me. I get that it happens when you're writing fast, but in a fic? Shouldn't happen!

Secondly, "could care less" instead of "couldn't care less". This is one that is also used in movies and it just bugs me because it doesn't make sense. Look:

If you "could care less" about, say, peanuts means that there IS something that interests you even less than peanuts. With this expression, however, you want to express that there is nothing that interests you less than peanuts; that peanuts are the least of your worries. So you need to use "could NOT care less" because otherwise... it's just wrong. Okay? >.>

Also, Gustav Schafer instead of Gustav Schäfer used to bug me like whoa until I found out that some keyboards don't have the "Trema" (two little dots) to put on letters.

EDIT: Also, Finnegan instead of Finnigan. I know that Finnegan with an "e" exists, but Seamus's name is the "i" version.

There are other SPaG things that bug me but I can't think of them right now.

My first crush was probably Damien. I was in third grade at the time. Unfortunately, my best friend and he had been together since kindergarten (LOL I know, right?), so I didn't have a chance.

But he did know about it, sort of. I think everyone had a crush on him back then. Anyway, one time, when my BFF wasn't at school, he told me he actually liked me more than her *dies* I was Very Happy.

As for my first real crush... that must've been Kim, my first kiss. He was gooorgeous and I was so in love with him. He was 17, I was 13, so naturally, it couldn't last. He gave me the Best First Kiss Ever and broke up with me a week later in a text.

Sad, my love life, isn't it? XD

I've actually been thinking about going through my old diaries, translating them and creating a new LJ to archive them. Not that anyone would be interested in the Dramatic Life of Me as a Teenager, but... you know. Could be fun to relive it all. XD

Only one? There are several, actually.

- Gone with the Wind
- Love Actually
- The Lord of the Rings
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- The Philadelphia Story
- Pride and Prejudice (BBC mini series)
- Dirty Dancing
- Muriel's Wedding
- When Harry Met Sally
- Bridget Jones's Diary

I bet there are more, but those are the ones I've seen at least 10+ times.

What can I say? I love those, and no, I will probably never grow tired of them :)

Five :)

My native language is Luxembourgian. I also speak German, French and English fluently and a little Spanish. I also had Italian at school for a year but I only remember two sentences.
