I actually felt... like checking LJ...?

I know! I'm as surprised as you are. But I felt like it, so I gave in to the urge~ and ended up spending a lot of time on my "manage flist" page. I unfriended a bunch of people (most of them hadn't updated since like, 2011-2012) and unfollowing pretty much every community I was still following, and then following a bunch of new ones that are closer to my current interests, and basically just attempting to turn LJ into a place where I want to be again. If this doesn't work, I'm out of ideas LOL

Now I have to decide what to do about my own communities and whether to keep them or hand them over to someone who still gives a damn, and write a new profile text, maybe, and decide whether to update or just delete my fic masterlist... yeah.

Anyway... what's new? In RL... not much. I like work a lot better at the moment since I have more people my own age to hang out with, and I may have a little crush on a co-worker (maybe, possibly, because I don't even know what a crush feels like anymore, tbh), and for a while I felt like he was totally flirting with me, but meh, I think he's just being friendly. Oh well. Not like I would ever do anything about it anyway, so I'll just wait and see and analyze the situation some more.

Fandom-wise... Teen Wolf is pretty much my only interest at the moment. I'm reading fics daily, reblogging a lot of it, reading tons of meta about it and listening to podfics in the car to and from work every day. I also draw Teen Wolf (though I have a bit of an art block at the moment, grrr) and am currently participating in twreversebang and am signed up for Steter Big Bang on Tumblr.

I've also written a little Steter fic here, mostly just because I wanted to finally fucking post some fic again. I'm working on several really long ones that... I have no idea when I'm ever going to finish them cause I work on them so rarely that I'm not making much progress.

I've also sort of started podficcing??? I'm still figuring things out, trying to find the best recording quality, etc. but to start off, I recorded WhoNatural's Too Far Ahead here, if you wanna give it a listen and give me some concrit, Idk.

I just arrived at work. And what happened to me on the way here?

Well. I got thirsty. So I took my bottle of water, put it between my legs, so I could open it. Then I must've squeezed it a little too tightly with my thighs, and when I finally did manage to open it, the water splashed out, and ran between my legs. Like... of course, it couldn't have just gotten my thigh a little wet - no, it had to go all the way, so that now it looks like I peed my pants.

LOL!!

I debated going back home and putting on different pants, but then I would've been at work, like, an hour later, and... well, I wanted to be home early tonight.

So now I'm sitting here, at my desk, with a wet crotch.

I went to the bathroom to assess the situation, and it's fortunately not even all that obvious cause I'm wearing dark jeans, so...

But seriously - such things only happen to me.

*facepalm*

Is it bad that I'm kind of relieved it's my last day of work, for now? LOL

Or maybe I'm just really, really looking forward to the weekend... and SLEEP! :D

Okay, off to get ready.

It feels like it's been a busy two weeks, even though I didn't really do all that much. So here's a numbered post for you ;)

01. The state examination. I knew about it a month before and still only started studying seriously about five days before. Naturally, I didn't know it all by heart but decided to just see how it goes. I didn't feel like going at all, mostly because it was an all-day thing and I had to get up at 6 am.

But in the end, I'm glad I went because it was actually a pretty fun day. It started with the test about the Luxembourgian state and laws. I totally failed that one cause that was the one where I should've learned everything by heart. But I didn't and I ended up confusing everything and... meh. Not great. So technically I could've gone home then but decided to stay at least till noon. At ten, we got a text that we had to summarize and a quote we had to comment on. In an hour, which, in my case, was completely impossible After that, there was a test about the history and culture of Luxembourg which was fun. I think I did great in that one.

At noon I called my mother and she convinced me to stay until the end, so I did. I spent the lunch break in the mall, then went back to write the three language tests. German and English went great, as I could've expected, and French was better than I expected. Then we got a test about current events and news and I think I can totally forget about that one LOL! But I did my best 0:) And then finally, we had to translate a text from Lux. to French or German. I picked German and did a decent job. And... yeah! I'm pretty sure, it was pointless to go in the first place but on the other hand, it was a good experience :)

02. I wish I could've gone to the HP UK Meetup, but I'm glad I didn't because the week before, I got sick. Flu with coughing and sore throat and... it was bad and I was feeling really, really rotten. So obviously, I didn't want to make myself feel any worse by starving following my Weight Watchers plan and ended up putting on weight again instead of losing it. 1 kg only, but still!

Um... I was talking about the HP UK Meetup, so how did I get to dieting? *facepalm*

Right. Um... Oh! Anyway, nursedarry asked me to design a H/D tattoo for her. I was thrilled and said yes, and with the sketches she sent me, I came up with this:

03. Writing. I've written two more articles since last week - one about Puccini's opera "Tosca", and on Friday evening, I went to see a "musical". It wasn't really a musical since there was no singing. There was mostly dancing and a great atmosphere that made me want to jump up and dance as well :) I still haven't got a cent for anything I've written so far, so I need to address that again in my next email.

04. A rec. I finally had the time to read my hp_cestfest gift and it's AMAZING! Charlie/Lily, pure smut, and extremely hot. *drools*

05. Fests... I'm not signed up for anything right now. Wee! Okay, I agreed to do art for a story at percybigbang and then I have a little something planned for another fest. Not sure if it's supposed to be secret or not but I'll keep it a secret for now ;)

So my job interview went great and took only about 10 minutes. Now I'm a free journalist, so to speak XD

My first assignment is the Mika concert on Saturday (for free!) and I have to write an article of more or less 300 letters :D

The only thing I could kick myself for now is that I didn't apply for this job in January cause then I might have had the opportunity to see Tokio Hotel for free and write about it! XD

Oh well, there are some other interesting concerts in the next few weeks. Rihanna, for example. I think Lady Gaga's coming too... Of course I'm not sure they're gonna send me to all of those concerts but... yeah. It would be great! And I like Mika, so... *SQUEE* :D

# I've given up on the substitute teacher job and am focusing on something else now. There's another job I'm interested in and my aunt knows someone who works there, so... I've got connections ;D Anyway, now I'm waiting to get news on that. My mum and I also spent a few hours this weekend looking for possible universities I could go to as well as subjects. I've found some interesting things but... I'm still not sure what I'm going to do which is why I won't talk about it until it's actually... decided :)

# I finished watching Dollhouse, and I really don't get why there won't be any more seasons. Okay, it was a little complicated and weird at times but the actors were absolutely amazing, and... I'll miss the show. Hmph.

# I started watching Glee this weekend with Jil. I was a bit reluctant at first but then agreed to watch the first episode, just to see if we'd like it, and... we ended up watching eight. LOL! I really like it; it's one of those shows you immediately get hooked to! :)

# My Charlie/Albus art 'Albus' Favourite Uncle' got nominated for charlie_awards :D Thanks to everyone who nominated me! ♥

# I started working on my next daily_deviant art and I have a feeling that it's going to be amazing. It took me two hours to only do the lineart of the 'main character', so... pfff. It'll take a while to finish that :)

# I claimed a prompt for hp_canon_fest and I completely blame redheadsarehot *nods*

# I don't have that many more fest fics/drawings due (only hp_neverafter, hp_rarities and hp_cestfest - and I haven't started with any of them yet *hides*), so as soon as I'm more or less done with those, I can focus on your requested drawings :D And I have a little surprise for that too, so... *g*

# The next round of hp_emofest is in planning, so check out this poll and give us some feedback. It will most definitely be a prompt fest, so you can already start thinking of awesome emo/angsty prompts for us :D

# The next the_ass_fest will also be soonish (well, there won't be anything for another month, but we're already discussing things ;)).

Oh, and no more dark!fic for me. I had a dream that was something between RL and HP, and I was tortured by Death Eaters. It hurt :,( LOL!

So. After talking to my mother, we decided that I'm going to take the exam to become a replacement for primary/elementary school teachers. If I get accepted, I need to do a four week internship in a class, and if I pass it, then I'll get calls whenever a teacher calls in sick, and... well, I'll have to teach :)

I think that's probably the best idea because it'll help me get over my shyness and see if teaching would be something I'd enjoy. I still can't see myself standing in front of a class without blushing and stuttering but... well, we'll see how it goes.

Anyway, my mum wants me to send the letter tomorrow, and I have so much to do this week, that I need a To Do List, so that I won't forget anything.
