TH primer?

Hey, so I've got someone on Tumblr who wants to know more about Tokio Hotel; do we have some sort of primer or something for potential new fans somewhere? :D I was thinking of linking her to the 100% Tokio Hotel documentary cause I think that gives you a pretty good idea of who they are and stuff, but if we have a written introduction with pictures and stuff that I could link her to, that would be great too!

That's cheating though. Part of the fun of becoming a fan is digging around and discovering all the dirt so you can feel smug about it after the fact.

LOL True, that is half the fun... but depending on what fandom you're trying to find out more about, you don't know where to look, and Tokio Hotel isn't a huge fandom like 1D, so...

LOL No, they're not THAT obscure, but the ~core~ of the fandom is on LJ, so when you start looking around on Tumblr, you may not figure that out right away. It's not hard to find videos or anything, though. And I don't think primers should give you all the information we've figured out over years and years, but a few basic starting points would be useful, like... LJ communities, active fic comms/sites, etc.

Yeah, apparently the ones that exist are really old, so... meh. While looking around and slowly discovering everything yourself is fun too, a primer would be kind of handy - just to find out the basics, or to know where to look for stuff :)

All the primers I've seen are quite old. You could link her to the Zimmer documentary, though. That reveals a lot about how the guys are (or were, during that time). I'm so glad to hear someone else wants to know more about TH!
